Acton Academy Silicon Valley is seeking a full-time Credentialed Preschool Teacher.

Classroom and professional responsibility:

• Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times. Be alert to the needs of children as individuals and as a group.
• Work with the teaching team to set up and maintain the classroom. Keep classroom shelves, counters, storage areas, and bathrooms orderly and free of clutter.
• Always keep developmentally appropriate practice in mind when planning for and communicating with children and families.

Curriculum Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement an enriching curriculum for children as individuals and as a group.
• Learn the Kimochis curriculum and weave its social language into daily communication with children.
• Plan and implement activities and projects that support multi-culture, holidays, and values.

Job Type: Full-time

Acton Academy Silicon Valley is seeking full-time Guides. Depending on experience this Guide would lead one of our 4 studios, Spark (ages 5-6), the elementary studio (Discovery: ages 7-10), or middle school (Exploration 10-14).
