Meet Jordan Mineo
Discovery Two Studio Guide

Jordan has spent more than a decade in STEM education, including six years leading summer camps and four years in afterschool and extended learning. After guiding the Spark Studio, Jordan now leads Discovery Two and contributes to Acton SV's extended learning programs.

With a Master's in Instructional Design from Full Sail University, Jordan builds quests and curriculum that turn big ideas into hands-on adventures.Jordan's approach is rooted in learner-driven, constructivist teaching. In the studio, that means trusting learners to own their choices, letting natural consequences do the teaching, and valuing the process as much as the finished product. Jordan believes every learner deserves what they need to thrive, not simply the same thing as everyone else.

Outside the studio, Jordan performs as Plazma Petey, the scientist behind Plazma Petey's Extraordinary Science Shows, with more than 100 shows across the Bay Area. On a quiet weekend, you might find Jordan designing tabletop games, building worlds for an original comic series, or working on a golf swing.
